An interesting article you have chose on “podcasting”. This world is becoming a more technological society and as we are eager for information and convenience, Podcasting makes is the way to gain that information. Over the years podcasting has become more and more popular, it enables people like you and I to broadcast something and post it on the internet for other people. Podcasting is thus a necessity tool for citizen journalist as it allows audio broadcast of information than the traditional written form. However Podcasting these days isn’t just used for news, it is also used for entertainment uses as wells, you may download podcast of your favourite t.v shows or even a radio broadcast that you have missed. Podcasting has become so broad that basically everything is in the form of Podcast in some form or another. Itunes has a substantial library of podcast that they offer itune users to download for free for their own personal use. Lucky for us podcasting is not restricted and requires no essential professional degree to use. Maybe in the future people will move on from radio broadcast and will all tune into podcast. Podcast is a very unique and useful piece of technology that will grow to be one of the mainstream source of information and entertainment.

I didn't even really know much about Podcasting until I read the article, good summary! I think podcasting could be really useful, because unlike written responses it uses sound which has a different effect on us. We can combine podcasting with a blog to add personality. You can also use podcasting for music. I think it is really powerful!
